DEBORAH A. SHEPHERD

Deborah A. Shepherd, CEO and President of Animal Biotech Industries, Inc., holds a B.S. degree in Laboratory Animal Science from Delaware Valley University.  She is a certified Laboratory Animal Technician through The American Association of Laboratory Animal Science and has been named DVB AALAS Manager of the Year.  Deborah is responsible for the general vision, growth and economic stability of the corporation.  As a hands-on person, she is involved in the daily operations at ABI and initiates new changes and policies, as well as directs quality control and the efficiency of the operation for the corporation.  Deborah oversees the training and monitoring of all staff and monitors and maintains excellent customer service and customer relations policies.

 

Dr. Gary L. Brubaker

Dr. Gary L. Brubaker, Chairman Emeritus of Animal Biotech Industries, Inc., holds a B.S. degree in Animal Science from Delaware Valley University, as well as an M.S. and a Ph.D. in Reproductive Physiology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.  As founder of ABI, Dr. Brubaker has recently retired from the daily activities of ABI, but he continues to offer his expertise through consulting on behalf of the corporation.  During his studies, Dr. Brubaker completed two research projects.  You can view the write ups in the links below.

Dr. Michael S. Pierdon

Dr. Michael S. Pierdon, Staff Veterinarian at Animal Biotech Industries, Inc., holds a B.S. Degree in Animal and Poultry Science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, a Veterinary Degree from The University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and a specialty in Swine Health Management from the University of Illinois School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Pierdon is responsible for directing, monitoring and upgrading the ABI Swine Health Program. He monitors the animal health surveillance on a monthly basis.

Brendan Lederach

Brendan Lederach, Operations Manager, holds a B.S. degree in Agribusiness from Delaware Valley University.  He is responsible for managing the daily operations at ABI, as well as participating in the hiring and training of new staff.  Brendan is also in charge of the delivery truck fleet and assists in maintaining excellent customer service and customer relations.
